Inclusive music workshops
Inclusive workshops are a great way to experience shared creativity and music-making in an accessible and non-threatening way. They can break down barriers in communication and help to facilitate more confidence in playfulness and spontaneity.
These workshops are flexible and bespoke, meaning that they can be suitable for small and large groups and are open to a wide range of settings. This can include nurseries, schools, youth clubs, charities, mental health provisions, community projects, care homes and a range of workplaces.
Sessions often involve, but are not limited to:
- Music and movement activities
- Accessible singing
- Group drumming
- Collaborative songwriting
- Musical games
- Open discussions and reflections
Recent workshops have been facilitated with Bicester Autism/ADHD, Chinnor Village Centre, Windmill Place Supported Living and Resources for Autism.
